I'm not sure why, but for some reason I'm feeling very nostalgic about the kids today. My screensaver is a rotation of pictures of the boys, and everytime I look at it I think of how darn cute they are!
For example, this morning Aidan said to me: "Mummy, you look pretty". AWWWW.... how bloody cute is that?? Granted I was wearing a skirt which is an extremely rare occurance now a days, but still, he said it - with no prompting from anyone!!
Then there's Quinner, Mr. Personality himself. First thing he says to me when he sees me is: "Hi Mummy" with a big smile on his face. He is just so happy all the time!
I can't believe that Aidan's 4 and Quinn is going to be 2. Sigh..... my babies aren't babies any more!

Truly Canadian
So today we were true Canadians.
We started off with Quinn and Chris going to gymnastics (or 'nastics as Quinn calls it!), and Aidan and I hitting the new Super Wal-Mart (personally, I don't think there's anything 'super' about it, but that's a whole different tangent).
OK - that's not too Canadian, but these are things that had to get done!
Then we went to Tim's for some coffee and Tim-bits, and then we did some outdoor skating on Lake Chipican. Aidan was just tearing around with his skating frame, and he couldn't believe we were skating where the ducks normally swim!
Next it was home for lunch and naps, and then we were off tobogganing at Centennial park. Quinn and Aidan had a blast, and in a surprising development, neither had any fear flying down the hills. In another shocking twist, Aidan NEVER EVER stopped talking the WHOLE time!!
Now it's time for dinner and then bed for me!!

Party time!
Well Aidan turns the big "4" tomorrow, so we had his friends party today. It was a long and exhausting day, but Aidan loved his party and I think a good time was had by all.
Here are some shots of the big soiree!

Stumblin', Rumblin', Jumpin'
Today was Quinn's first gymnastics class. He was a little apprehensive at first, but once he figured out he could run, jump, and play all he wanted he was a wild man!
The child has no fear, as he was hanging from bars, jumping into blocks and running like crazy!!

Of course, Aidan had to get in on the action too!

I may never leave.....

Roto-Rooter's 'Pimped Out John' is seen in an undated handout photo. Ohio-based Roto-Rooter says its 'Pimped Out John' is designed to 'fulfil all your wildest bathroom dreams'. Special features include an iPod music player and speakers, an Xbox video game console, a refrigerator filled with drinks and snacks and a cycling exercise machine. REUTERS/Roto-Rooter/Handout
