The Wheels go round and round

So I took a brief hiatus from blogging - not for any particular reason other than I was feeling a bit uninspired. But, now I'm back at it!

This weekend we went to the Wheels Inn which is a hotel with a pool and water slides, rides, putt-putt, bowling, an arcade, etc. Basically, it is a mecca for anyone under 4 feet tall. Our friend Laurie organized the trip, and there were 15 families who went. The kids had a great time playing with their buddies and riding the rides. Quinn was pretty funny in that he really didn't like any of the rides, except the roller coaster. Yep, our little dare-devil couldn't get enough of the coaster - he kept waving his arms and saying: "Again, again, again!!". Aidan loved the roller coaster because he could yell his head off. I told him it was the only time he was allowed to yell when inside, so he took full advantage of it!

In the evening we put the kids to bed, and then the grown-ups hung out on the balcony having some drinks and chatted. It was a blast! Here are some pictures from the weekend:

This week we're off to Mississagua to visit Tush & Dave, and Chris is playing in an all-night ultimate tournament. Those are three words that should not go together in my books: all-night and ultimate!

Other than that we're busy preparing for the onslaught of February birthdays and getting ready for our trip to Hilton Head to visit Omi and Gramps. Unfortunately, Aidan can't quite seem to understand that we're visiting them at the end of February, and he's already started packing for the trip. Ah well, at least he's prepared!!
