Today we went to the monthly Sarnia Roadrunners race. Every month they hold 1 Km, 3 Km, and either a 5Km or 10 Km race.
Aidan has run the 1 Km race twice before, so we went so he could do it again. Well, Mr. Man decided that he didn't want to do the 1 Km race, he wanted to do the 3 Km race! Quinn jumped on the running bandwagon at the last minute, and decided he wanted to do the 1 Km race!
Sooo..... first it was Quinn's turn at 1 Km. He did AMAZING!! He ran the entire race (7 min. 21 sec), and finished with a HUGE smile on his face. Let me remind you that he's only 4 1/2! Such a superstar!

Then it was Aidan's turn. I kept asking him, "are you sure you want to do 3 laps and not 1?" "Nope, I want to do the 3 Km race" he replied. The people around him couldn't believe that a 6 and 3/4 year old was going to run 3 Km. Well guess, what - HE DID IT!! Yep, he ran 3 Km in 16 min. 33 sec. - unbelievable!
