We have a sunken family room off our kitchen. The 'sunken-ness' of the family room acts as a wonderful barricade when the babies are crawling, because it takes them a while to figure out how to work their way up the step.
Well....... normally it takes them a while. For Marin, she figured it out in a couple of weeks. Now our little lady is pulling herself up, and crawling up the step. So much for containment!!
