So we organized a get together for about 20 of us at a cocktail party at the Riding Club. You have to understand what this entailed: actually applying make-up. Serious hair removal (probably TMI, but oh well.) and then serious hair coiffing. Buying a cocktail dress, and wearing (gasp!) HEELS!. And, we even hired a baby sitter to watch the rascals. Yep, this was a momentous night alright.

We had a great time, and put away our 'dancing' shoes for another occasion - that should happen sometime in the next 10 years or so....
Unfortunately the kids were totally merciless this morning and did not give us a moment to recover from our sleeplessness. Oh to be young again!!

What a blast for a 40th. You looked amazing--love the dress! I was shooting a wedding at the riding club at the end of October--I didn't know how nice it was in there and that it had such a beautiful view.
