An ode to my little elves

As I sat down at the computer to scribe this year's holiday letter, I had the brilliant idea to characterize each child by the letters in their name.  After working long and hard on it, I decided that it just wasn't working for me as holiday letter material.

That being said, my Mom taught me not to waste what you've worked hard on, so instead of sending my prose out in the guise of a holiday letter, I'm going to post it here.  Sooo.... each day for the next four days you will be treated (!) to an inside look at each of my children.

Rather than starting with Aidan (who always gets to go first at almost everything since he is the oldest), I thought I'd start with our littlest miracle, Marin:

Mischievous:  the fourth child has to be the biggest ham, and Marin is proof
positive of that!  If you have any doubts about this, just ask her to show you
   her ‘pouty’ face!

Astute:  Marin can quickly pick up on when someone needs a hug, or a toy.
And is just as quick to figure out when it’s time to go running to Mom or Dad
  for help!

Raucous:  whether she’s trying to dance, chattering away at the breakfast
table, or just trying to be heard over the din of everyone else, Marin's
personality makes itself known where ever she goes.

Irresistible: She charms everyone with her easy-going disposition, and her
quick smile.  And those eyes… who can resist when she turns on the charm
  with her beautiful baby blues?

Not going to play second fiddle to her older siblings.  Just because she's the
fourth child doesn't mean she sits in the shadow of her brothers and sister.
Nope, our Marin is busy forging her own path - who knows where it will take
  her and us!
