Our weekend started off on an awesome note: we made our annual pilgrimage to the Christmas tree farm. We always have so much fun there, and this year was no different:
On the hunt for the perfect tree:
Plowing through all the evergreens: (can I just say how much I love this shot!!)
Chopping down the tree: (darn blogger, can't rotate the picture!)
Chris and Marin headed off for some sausages and onion rings:
While Shannon & Aidan were content with Rice Cakes (I know - rice cakes. How lame is that?!?!)
Then we rode the choo choo over, and over, and over... (I'm bitter because I thought I took this amazing video of the girls giggling on the train, and instead I just got this picture.)
Aidan after he slid down the sand hill a few thousand times:
Quinner on the zip line - they had to lift him up so he could be attached!!
Here is the finished tree at home - pretty perfect I think!
On Sunday winter arrived with a vengeance. The snow started falling, and kept falling for HOURS. The boys were out building and destroying:
This morning the city was pretty much shut down due to all the blowing snow. It made for a beautiful wreath on my door though....
This is a shot outside my kitchen window. I thought the basketball net and play set looked pretty cool:
