Today was our first coolish day in weeks. Angie and I decided to pack the kids in the cars and head over to Rock Glen Conservation area.
It's been YEARS since we visited Rock Glen, so the kids weren't quite sure what to expect. I told them that we were going to go on a hike, visit a waterfall and do some exploring.
Side note: the ENTIRE day, Marin kept talking about how we were going "Explora-doring". I think she has Dora on the brain.....
The kids (minus Brinly): Aidan Clarence, Clark, Quinn, Shannon, Aidan, Zach, Tatum & Marin:
The waterfall - it was sooooo... scenic!
Climbing up a clay mountain, looking for fossils (with some random guy's butt in the picture!)
Umm..... How do I get down?!?!

Two cuties:
It was heaven for the boys. They took off and were exploring everything.
The girls were such troopers, they hiked the whole way. Shannon was sooo.... cautious at the beginning, but by the end she was climbing, jumping, and having a blast!
We could have stayed for hours, but alas real life called and we had to get back to wash the mud off. Next time we go we definitely have to bring Chris with us - he'd love being that close to nature!!
