After Niagara Falls we headed up to the Curtis' cottage. On the way we stopped at lock #3 of the Welland Canals. My parents used to take us here when I was a kid, and clearly I have turned into them as I dragged my family to see it. The kids were relatively unimpressed, especially since there were no ships passing through when we were there. But we got a chance to stretch our legs and then hop back in the car for the drive up.
We were very lucky over the weekend that we had pretty great weather. There was lots of swimming, tubing, water trampolining, and fun had by everyone. As usual we stuffed ourselves with too much food and drink, but it's always worth it!!
