Playing in the snow: a photo essay

Last week we got a batch of beautiful new snow.  Quinn was dying to go outside, so of course that means that Shannon pipes up:  "ME TOO!!!!"  (my Mom can appreciate this phrase, as apparently that's pretty much all I said as I grew up chasing around my older sister and brother).

I bundled the two little monkeys up, and out they went.  The following is a photo essay of what happened:

After about 10 minutes Quinn came up to the door and said.... (wait for it)....
      "MOM!  I have to go peeeeeeeeee........" 

So I called Shannon and asked her to come in, but the snow got the better of her.  She was literally trapped in the snow!

Quinn trudged back out to rescue his little sis:

Then they came in, and all 4 made themselves comfy in a bed on the floor:

Just a regular day in the life in our house!!
