A Mani & Pedi

Shannon has always loved the idea of painted nails.  On the rare occasion that I paint my toe nails, she always says:  "Mummy, your nails are pretty."

On Sunday we somehow got on the subject of painting nails, and finally I said:  "Shannon, do you want me to paint your nails?"  She was soooo.... excited!

Here's what happened:

First I painted her toes...

Then I said, "what the heck, let's do your fingernails too...."

Needless to say, she was sooooo.... happy with the results:

I told her she had to sit still and not touch anything, or else she'd smudge her new nails.  She sat like this for at least half an hour!!! I'm not kidding, she hardly moved a muscle!!!

And lest you think my little girl has gone all girlie girl on us, here is how she dressed up yesterday:
