This weekend we celebrated Christmas with the James family. Marin was toddling around the whole time saying: "Santa Ho Ho Ho. Merry Mis-mess!" We had a great time visiting with Heidi, Robert and Robert who drove up from Harbor Springs to celebrate with everyone.
The backyard rink was christened on Saturday. In fact, Aidan was out at 7:30 in the morning (right before his 8:00 a.m hockey game - ugh!) testing it out. Our neighbours must love us!!
And then when the whole James crew arrived, all the big kids went out and played, and played, and played. We actually had to BEG them to come in to open some presents!!
And my girls.... man are they snugglers. They'll take any opportunity they can get to snuggle with their Aunts and Uncles!
And then we ate. Oh how we ate! It actually worked out really well because even though we hosted, everyone helped out with the meal in some way. It was sooo....much easier and delicious!
After dinner the kids played even more hockey outside, then they came in all sweaty and rosy-cheeked to help Quinn on the computer.
And finally, we even manged to get a picture of the whole family, looking pretty fabulous if I do say so myself!
