Wordless Wednesday

I've finally downloaded a bunch of pictures from my camera, so here is an update:

Halloween was the wettest Halloween in nine years.  All day it was grey and drizzly - not terrible weather, but also not great weather.  Well of course at 5:30 (half an hour before trick-or-treating officially starts) it started POURING!  But candy is a big enough incentive that the kids still trekked outside.
After many costume changes, she finally settled on a cowgirl

Scarey vampire-ninja dude Quinn

Couldn't come up with a costume, so he just threw on a mask and cape.

Before they got soaked, and loaded down with candy!!

Friday was "Wacky Hair Day" at school for the big three.  You have to understand that wacky hair day is a bit of a national pastime at our house.  The kids LOVE wacky hair day!

Of course Marin wanted in on the wacky hair action, so we spent about 15 minutes in the garage creating pony-tails, and spraying their hair various colours.

On Saturday morning we were outside raking, and discovered the most adorable cat hanging around.  This little guy was mew-ing and snuggling up against us, and the kids fell instantly in love.

They desperately wanted to adopt the little guy, but Chris and I played evil parents and said no (you're welcome Brigitte!!!)

And of course, what is raking the leaves without some major JUMPING in the leaves?!?!?
