This year Aidan performed in the Bluewater Performing Arts Festival. It's a non-competitive festival where kids play the piano in front of an adjudicator, and then receive feedback from the adjudicator.
It's a bit nerve racking, as the kids go in groups of 5 or 6, and have to perform on a piano they've never played on, in front of an audience of teachers, parents, students and the adjudicator.
Aidan has never done this before, so he was a tad nervous before he went in. Added to that was the fact that he was wearing 'nice' pants and a button down shirt.... ugh!!
But, the little man did a great job and was quite pleased with his performance. Of course, when I asked him if he wanted to do it again, his response was a lightening quick: NOPE!!
